Tributes
It is a tradition at CFF to showcase specific cycles dedicated to countries, authors, actors, movie critics or any other distinguished person whose achievements contributed to the industry and the promotion of Cinema. The choices are often related to current events.
Through such tributes, the Festival’s goal is to offer movie goers a chance to discover a particular or poorly recognized film, to enhance works of quality, to express its appreciation of talent or simply to celebrate an event.
2012 being the anniversary of the independence of Algeria, CFF will mark the occasion by having a tribute to Algerian cinema, showcasing a retrospective of films representative of the last 50 Years.
