Synopsis

A satirical tale about a village idiot who might just be a prophet.

Réalisateur

Born in 1977 in Shanxi province, Jie Han studied film production at Beijing Normal University where he directed his first short, NEW YEAR (2002). He subsequently worked as a director of photography before directing his first feature in 2006, WALKING ON THE WILD SIDE. In 2008 he made BEING AND NOTHINGNESS, one of the segments chosen for the Paris exhibition DANS LA VILLE CHINOISE about the five biggest Chinese cities, Suzhou, Xi’an, Chongqing, Canton and Shanghai.
