This pilot edition of Meet the Talents was inspired by the feeling that an exciting pool of young and emerging talents attending the festival might feel left out of the industry program. The willingness expressed by many Carthage Pro guests to meet new voices and to provide them with advice has reinforced our conviction that we needed to launch a such a dedicated program, which we hope to develop over the coming years.
Geared at a selected number young professionals, directors, producers, programmers alike, this tailor made and daylong program is aimed at providing them with some essential keys to start their journey into this ever-evolving film industry.
With a workshop and two networking events, they will receive advise on how to get their message across, and receive feedback on their career goals and on how to carry a project through to completion.
Meet the Talents is also an invitation for these emerging voices to connect with each other, hoping to spark long lasting connections, that would in turn not only create networks but also spark potential collaborations.
