Fresh Feminine Perspectives (Regards Croisés au Féminin), Women Filmmakers from the South and the North, Exile and Migration

Since the very beginning, the Carthage Film Festival has always been oriented towards otherness, faithful still to its principles and human values.

As such, this 33rd edition devotes a program to an area that remains a hot topic.

On this path, darkened by fear and uncertainty, women directors have taken their cameras to shed light on the crossing of thousands of men and women who try to reach the other side of the Mediterranean.

Six courageous, talented and determined women filmmakers from the south and north of the Mediterranean have taken an unconventional look at the stories of migration and exile. Their digitised and unpublished films will be screened for the first time at the JCC.
