Carthage Industry Days

We are delighted to invite you to a new edition of the Takmil workshop that will bring African and Arab filmmakers together in an incredible journey of a series of events within the Carthage Industry Days.

Takmil workshop aligns with the same festival’s principales, opening the way for Arab and African cinema, supporting them in their path to finish their film projects to become reality.

During three days, screenings of the selected film projects will be held in front of an international jury. This year, 08 feature documentaries and fiction were selected to participate in the workshop, 03 from Tunisia, 02 from Africa and 03 from the Arab speaking world. Invited director or producer, will be pitching after the screening to convince the jury.

Finally, finishing aid prizes will be awarded by the jury to the films they consider the most promising during Carthage Industry Days closing ceremony.

Awards TAKMIL

Le jury composé de M. Ahmad Shawky, M. Hicham Falah et le président du jury M. Karim Hammouda s’est réuni aujourd’hui le 04/11/22.

Après avoir visionné les 08 projets de film en post-production de l’atelier Takmil, le jury a décidé le palmarès suivant :

Prix OIF 10.000 EUROS : RESSAC, une histoire touarègue de Intagrist el Ansari (Mauritanie)

Prix IFT 7.000 EUROS : La vie est un chemin de fer de Kevin Mavakala, Isaac Sahani, Manassé Kashala et Tousmy Kilo (République démocratique du Congo)

Prix CNCI 20.000 DT : Un été à Boujad de Omar Mouldouira (Maroc)

Prix CNCI 20.000 DT : Mouvma, des poètes pas comme les autres de Ines Ben Othman (Tunisie)

Prix Université Centrale 20.000 DT Summer came on laughing de Noha Adel (Egypte)

Prix OIF-ACP-UE 5.000 EUROS : Defying Ashes de Karanja Ng’endo (Kenya)

Prix Goethe Institute 3.000 EUROS : God’s captivating face de Mohamed ben Romdhane et Marwen Meddeb (Tunisie)
