Synopsis

Iqbal is a playful and joyful young boy who spends his time playing with his friends and his adorable baby goat or drawing wonderful pieces. His brother falls gravely ill, he needs expensive medicine, too expensive. Thinking he is doing the right thing, Iqbal waits for the nightfall to slip out to the city. To help his mother and cure his brother, he doesn’t have any solution but to sell his goat, with a heavy heart… But nothing will go as planned!

Michel Fuzellier, Babak Payami

Michel Fuzellier was born in 1944 in France, is an illustrator and animation film director. In 1963, he went to Milan, attracted by the effervescent creativity that lived in Italy at the time. He starts as a host at Cartoons Film, an animation studio that produces a great amount of advertising films.

Babak Payami, A graduate from the University of cinema of Toronto, he makes two documentaries and a short film Vernissage. He produced and directed his first feature film One more day in 1998 which was awarded in Turin and Tokyo festivals in 2000. In 2001, Babak Payami directed Secret Ballot which was awarded the Special Prize of Best Director in Venice festival. In 2003, he achieved Silence between two thoughts.
