Synopsis

A fifteen-year-old Ukrainian gymnast exiled in Switzerland is working to secure a place at the country's National Sports Centre. When the Euromaïdan revolt breaks out in the country, concern mounts as her family gets involved.

Elie Grappe

Elie Grappe was born in France in 1994. After a training in music at the National Conservatory of Lyon, he studied directing in the cinema department of the Ecole Cantonale d'Art de Lausanne (ECAL). As part of her training, in 2014 he directed a short documentary film Repetition selected, among others, at the festivals of Amsterdam IDFA, Clermont-Ferrand and Krakow. In 2015, he directed her graduation short film, Suspended and a musical documentary, Off stage, in collaboration with Timothée Zurbuchen.
