Synopsis
During the 1997 war in Congo DRC former Zaire, Francine, a 12-year-old Congolese girl was recruited by the Rwandan army and its Ugandan ally, led by Laurent Kabila to oust MOBUTU from power. 20 years later, Francine's mother comes to visit her. She tells her story.

Moussa Touré
Moussa Touré began his film career as a technician. In 1987, he turned to directing and founded his own film production company Les Films du Crocodile. He directed Toubab Bi (1991), which won awards at several international festivals, including the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival. He directed TGV (1998) which won the Audience Award at the International African Film Festival. Then he directed 5x5 (2005) and The canoe (2012).
