Synopsis

A motorbike is speeding through Niger. On board, Moussa, a young Tuareg hide in his vehicle fifty tablets of tramadol, one of the most popular narcotics in West Africa. By following Moussa, we meet the smugglers and users of this opioid.

Adoum Moussa and Morgane Wirtz

Adoum Moussa and Morgane Wirtz are freelance journalists and researchers. They work on issues of human rights violations, security and cross-border trafficking in Sahel and in the Maghreb. Their first feature documentary film Teghadez Agadez, won several international awards. Tramadol was shot in Niger and edited in Tunisia, where Morgane lives currently.
