Synopsis

Chile, 1976. Three years after Pinochet's coup, Carmen goes to supervise the renovation of her family's house by the sea. Her husband, children and grandchildren come and go during the winter holidays. When the priest asks her to look after a young man whom he is secretly harbouring, Carmen finds herself in an unknown land.
