Synopsis
Mónica is a 47-year-old choreographer in Buenos Aires. When she receives a call from her sister telling her that their father is very ill, she decides to go to his bedside in his native village in Spain. When she arrives, her father is already dead, but she stays behind to help her mother sell the family home. During the long winter months in this arid and isolated land, Mónica rediscovers the woman she has not seen for twenty years.

Meritxell Colell
Meritxell Colell Aparicio, born in 1983, is part of a new generation of Spanish directors whose work has been widely acclaimed internationally in recent years. At the Atelier de la Cinéfondation of the Cannes Film Festival, she developed CON EL VIENTO, her first feature film as writer and director, which was presented in 2018 at the Berlinale and won the Silver Biznaga for Best Film at the Malaga Film Festival, and has been selected for screenings at some 50 festivals.
