Libertad
Libertad
Clara Roquet - Spain
Synopsis
Nora, an introverted teenager from a middle-class family, comes to spend the summer with her mother, younger sister and grandmother in a villa where Rosana, a Colombian maid, also lives. The latter's daughter, Libertad, bursts in and disrupts the usual calm of the family holiday. Clara Roquet captures the emotions of a teenage girl in the throes of discovery and emancipation in a coming-of-age novel.
